An easy and pleasant walk (0.7 miles) to all of the restaurants, shops and nightlife of Wilton Drive. The apartment is set back from the street in a private interior courtyard.

Kitchen: The Kitchen is equipped for real cooking. There are sharp knives and non-stick pots and pans.
Wi-Fi: two internet connections (AT&T and Comcast) provide redundancy. Both are the highest residential speeds available. Wifi is strong throughout the entire property. Stream 4K movies or do video calls.
Laundry: you'll have access to the laundry room, shared by all 5 units. They are coin operated.
Parking: assigned parking for one car in front of the building. You can park a second car two blocks away, if needed.
Babies: every unit has a crib, and a highchair is available on request.
Beach gear: we provide beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler.
Grill: The grill in the backyard is shared by four units. You are welcome to clean it to your satisfaction and then to use it. Most guests just heat it up to 400-500 degrees, brush it off a bit, and find that satisfactory. If the gas runs out, let us know, and we will fill it the next morning (Sundays excepted).

I live in Europe, so it's strictly through email. I'm very responsive, except from about 4pm until 1am, when I'm usually asleep. You'll get the key in a lockbox.
For emergencies my property manager lives just 1/4 of a mile away.
This is a residential neighborhood, so there aren't any restaurants or stores within a close walk.
Wilton Drive and the heart of LGBT South Florida are 0.7 miles away. It's a 10-15 minute walk, or a short Uber ride, away. There you will find many restaurants, bars, and unique locally owned shops.
Fort Lauderdale beach is 3.0 miles (4.8 km) away -- just ten minutes by car!
Please rent a car or use Uber. Public transportation is very poor in Florida, and the taxis are horrible.
The TV gets local channels only. It is a Smart TV, so you can access Netflix, HBO or other streaming services.
Bugs are a constant battle in Florida. You may encounter some during your stay. We exterminate using traps, bait, sprays, and fumigation. There is bug spray on the top shelf in the kitchen cabinet furthest from the sink. If you need us to come and exterminate, we can send someone Monday through Saturday (Sundays are more difficult).
