Thornton Park is a great neighborhood, close to Amway Center, Dr Phillips Performing Arts, and Lots of Bars and Nightlife. Lake Eola is within walking distance and Sundays are the best for Farmers Market

Orlando Convention Center is 11 miles away and takes about 20 minutes to get there as well.
