Welcome to the Hazel Cottage, built in 1953 and completed remodeled in 2020. This gorgeous cottage was one of five homes to survive Hurricane Hazel in 1954, hence her name. She is small but mighty with three bedrooms and two and half baths! Enjoy the ocean breezes while sitting on the screened porch that offers plenty of room for family and friends. In the fenced backyard there is a heated pool as well as an outdoor shower to rinse off a day of fun at the beach! There's plenty of seating for lounging around the pool and a charcoal grill for grilling your catch of the day. The updated kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful and the home is well stocked with all you need for cooking and relaxing! On the lower level, there is a small ping pong table and a half bath. The public beach access is three houses down and Ocean Crest Pier is just right down the street. This beach home is situated close to all the amenities that Oak Island has to offer. Just a short drive to the middle of town where you will enjoy restaurants and shopping. Don't forget the Summer Concerts at Middleton Park! Come enjoy the Salt Life!
