Summary: Location is great. You can walk to Salty Dog. Price is good. There are a couple things that make this “okay”:1. The AC in the place is inadequate. It’s warm in the house. They give you two box fans. They don’t do much but make a ton of noise.2. Place needs an update. TVs are tiny and low quality. They keep the place somewhat clean, but it is definitely old and needs a renovation.3. There is a cost to get into the sea Pines neighborhood. We got in around 9 PM went to the front gate and they wanted to charge us nine dollars to get in or 30 for the week. This was not communicated at all through VRBO. We messaged the management company and they really didn’t get back to us. I ended up going to the sea Pines front desk and they gave me a pass to get in which she said she wasn’t supposed to do because our name wasn’t on the list. I reached out the next day to see if it could be taken care of and got no response. Plan on paying nine dollars to 30 to get access to the place that you’re renting unless this is a one off and they just didn’t communicate well to us. They told us to go to the management companies office which was 4 miles away from the gate. This is something that should’ve been taken care of or communicated before the trip.If you’re looking for an inexpensive place, that is close to salty dog this place will work. Unless they fix the AC, I would not recommend in the summer. It’s fine, but if you’re expecting something nice, you will be disappointed.
