Beautifully and artistically decorated modern home with open and airy floor plan, on the historic Venice canals.
The sophisticated yet relaxed downstairs features a gourmet kitchen with Wolf range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Sub-Zero wine cooler, custom-built butcher block island and professional cookware. A large family room with a 60" Samsung flat screen TV faces the kitchen and breakfast nook. There is a separate dining room and living room, which lead to the front patio, yard and canals.
On the second floor, the large master bedroom features a king size bed, separate sitting room, large walk-in closet, a 50" Samsung flat screen TV and terrace overlooking the canals. The master bath has double sinks, a very large shower, enclosed toilet and a bathtub.
The second bedroom (or kids' room) has a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom.
The third bedroom has a king-size bed and large desk with a separate bathroom across the hall.
The second floor also has a height adjustable desk, and an 42" Panasonic flat screen TV.
There are 3 good sized decks/patios, all of which overlook the canals. The rooftop deck has two large couches, while the master bedroom deck has one 6' couch. The ground floor deck off the living room and dining room looks out to the canals and has a large lounge and dining area, all of it with high end teak furniture.
The house has air conditioning, solar energy, wi-fi, and a centrally controlled audio system with speakers in almost every room, The TVs have access to premium cable networks like HBO and Netflix. Other features Include an outdoor barbecue, upstairs washer & dryer and alarm system. Some, but not much, of the house has been child proofed.
The oversized lot has a porcelain tiled patio, designer teak furniture and small eco-turf yard.
The rental price includes, linens and towels, a canoe, kayak, paddle board and 2 bicycles. Housekeeper available at an additional cost.
The house is an 5 minute walk to the beach and Friday morning farmer’s market; 10 minute walk to some of the most popular restaurants and stores in LA on Abbott-Kinney Blvd, & a short drive to Whole Foods.
