This adorable 4-bedroom, 2-bath cottage is perfect for families and outfitted for FUN! Lots of features to delight kids and grown-ups alike, including indoor and outdoor games, a deck, outdoor dining table, mini fire pit, grill, and fully fenced yard for play. Fantastic location on the western edge of Colorado Springs a 1-minute walk from Red Rock Canyon Open Space, and 5 minutes from quaint Manitou Springs. Many popular attractions nearby: parks, open spaces, natural wonders, museums & more.
The space
From the outside, it looks like a little storybook cottage, but you’ll be delightfully surprised by the amount of living space and amenities you’ll enjoy inside. As you roll up the driveway, your heart will melt at the white picket fence embracing the front yard.
To enter the home, you have two easy options. Most conveniently, you can enter the kitchen through a side door directly from the driveway, making it a cinch to carry your groceries and suitcases in from the car. Additionally, a gate in the picket fence can be accessed from the driveway, where a short, paved pathway leads to the door overlooking the front yard. Through here, step into a cheerful multi-purpose room. If you’re traveling with kids, this is a space they’re going to love, with shelves stuffed with toys and games and a fun multi-colored light that projects various night skies and stars onto the ceiling. There is a trundle bed (two twins) recommended for kids/young adults only, kids’ reading chair, and a dresser. It also contains a window-facing desk and chair, making it a suitable home office if you’re working on the road. Please note, this multi-purpose room does not have a door, but it does have a child lock on the front door.
The heart of the home is a long, open space that incorporates a living area, dining nook, and kitchen.
*** This home has been converted into two units. The studio unit below you has a separate fenced entrance/yard. There is NOT a door inside your unit that leads to the other unit beneath you. The units and yard are NOT shared. There may be a small amount of noise transfer, but most guests do not notice each other are there. NOTE: The separate unit will NOT be occupied through December 31st! ***

From an ice cream scooper to can/wine bottle openers, we have it all, making it a great place for a long-term stay as well.
A wide opening allows for a clear view from the kitchen into the dining and living areas. The dining table seats six.
LIVING/DINING ROOM
The living and dining areas are separated by a half-wall with a built-in fireplace (not currently in operation). In the living area, you’ll find an inviting collection of seating, including a super comfy 3-seater sofa and several chairs, sharing space with a big wall-mounted TV. A wide bay window behind the sofa and sliding French doors provide plenty of light.
The sliding glass door opens onto a deck with a charming 4-person table that features a built-in mini-fire pit at its center. You’ll also find a grill for delicious group barbecues and an additional outdoor dining table at the center of the yard that seats 6.
BEDROOMS
The bedrooms present a special touch of whimsy, with a mountain theme that celebrates the nearby Rockies.

Your hosts are light sleepers and quality sleep is non-negotiable! We have Midea Smart Inverter window units in the bedrooms (one bedroom and the living area has a high-end floor unit). These are the quietest units on the market, at only 42 decibels. They allow the window to be mostly closed, with two times the cooling of traditional window units. Central heat is throughout the house for the Colorado winters which can be adjusted to your comfort.
BATHROOMS
This home also offers the convenience of two full baths, each with a sink vanity that includes storage below and a combination tub/shower. The showers include non-scented shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Forgot something? A few extra amenities are provided at no cost.
LAUNDRY
Tucked behind a folding door, you’ll find a laundry nook with a full-size washer and dryer that you are welcome to use outside of quiet hours.
GAME ROOM
A special “game room” serves two purposes: storage space for a wide variety of outdoor games (including corn hole, Jumbo Jenga, ring toss for kids, and a hook & ring game), but also, in case of a rainy day, the hallway is large enough for games inside. We also provide plenty of board and card games.
DOG FRIENDLY
Your furry kids are welcome here too! The home is equipped with water/food bowls, dog treats, and towels for cleaning off their feet. They will thank you for the fenced in front and back yards!
CLEANING
Our units are taken care of by professional cleaners. We provide extra cleaning services when pets have stayed to ensure the home meets all guest standards. Laundry is professionally washed offsite.
