Put your feet up and rest near the healing waters of Green Lake Retreat. We welcome you to our home away from home, nestled between two lakes. Our property sits on 120 ft of lakefront overlooking a unique private lake with a primitive island. Hop in one of our kayaks and look for birds, turtles, and other Florida wildlife, or make your way to the nearby marina and boat ramp to drop into Lake Eustis and the Harris Chain of Lakes. Top off the day with a stunning sunset and s’mores by the campfire.
Lake life at its finest! Adorable 3/2 with a spacious backyard, fully remodeled and outfitted with all of the comforts of home. Enjoy a cup of coffee from our Florida room overlooking the water and cook breakfast in our fully stocked kitchen. Relax with sunset views over Lake Eustis right from the living room. Rooms include one queen bed, two twins, and a day bed with a pull-out trundle for additional guests.
We are perfectly situated between Eustis, Tavares, and Mount Dora. Each of these distinctive cities has a lakeside park, boat rental options, and a downtown entertainment district.
Less than a mile away, downtown Eustis has restaurants, a brewery, a wine garden, and a beautiful lakeside park. Enjoy hometown fun with First Friday events or cruise into the classic car show.
Just up the road, Tavares is known as the Seaplane City. Fly high with a seaplane tour or rent a water bicycle and check out the Dora Canal. Often frequented by a younger crowd, there are many bars and restaurants offering live music and late night fun.
A 15 minute drive, Mount Dora consistently ranks as one of the top small towns in the country. Renowned for antiques and festivals, the historic downtown is home to boutique shops, art galleries, and a marketplace. Take a picture by the lighthouse, explore nature on the Palm Island boardwalk, or drive by the VanGogh house. Between Segways, CraigCats, and electric carriages (coming soon!) there are plenty of ways to explore Mount Dora.
