And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Natural light moves through the rooms throughout the day, and the living area gives everyone a place to land. Smart TVs with Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix, and Roku keep the entertainment options open, whether you're winding down after a long day on Bourbon Street or settling in for a slow morning. Fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace in a common area mean those who need to stay connected can do so without sacrificing comfort.
Sleeping arrangements
Five bedrooms sleep up to 10 guests across 6 beds, each room fitted with room-darkening shades so late risers can actually sleep in. Essentials are all provided - bed linens, towels, hangers, and clothing storage - so you can pack light and settle in fast.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is set up for real cooking. A Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, and microwave cover the full range of meal prep. Cooking basics - pots, pans, oil, salt and pepper - are stocked, along with dishes, silverware, a toaster, baking sheet, and a drip coffee maker with coffee ready to go. Pull up to the dining table and eat together rather than hunting down a restaurant every meal.
Bathrooms
Three full bathrooms keep mornings from becoming a bottleneck. Each is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and hot water on demand. A bathtub, hair dryer, and cleaning products are also available.

The fully fenced private backyard is one of the home's best features. Gather around the fire pit as the night cools down, run a game of cornhole, or fire up the private gas BBQ grill for an al fresco dinner at the outdoor dining area.
