Located less than 1 hour from Miami International Airport and a fun day trip away from the Everglades, Key West and everything in between, this two-story home is perfect for small groups or entertaining visitors seeking warm weather. Happy Place comfortably sleeps 8 guests with 4 bedrooms, 2 full sized bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to make this your home away from home. The open concept living area includes two comfy sofas and a large dining table/kitchen island that's perfect for entertaining. There are 2 spacious balconies offering open water views and ocean breezes - the balcony right outside the kitchen has a picnic table with a Weber grill ready to BBQ your freshly caught fish.
The lower level of the house is all about enjoying the outdoors. The mangroves directly across the street attract flocks of chirping Egrets and Spoonbills while the roosters crow in the morning. From the canal you can see manatees, catch some snapper or see sunbathing iguanas while you mingle with the neighbors. Take a relaxing dip in the canal or enjoy a sunset paddle on the kayaks. There are four bright Adirondack chairs and a cool boat bench surrounding a fire pit to keep you lounging into the night. In addition, there is a large covered patio with a dining set and a ceiling fan for alfresco dining. We also have a ping pong table and a corn hole game for more outdoor fun. Explore the Keys with kayaks and stand-up paddle boards included with the rental. Bring your bikes or rent one nearby, there are miles of paved trails that are perfect for exploring or bike riding to one of the many nearby restaurants and shops. The house is also within walking distance to a grocery store and a convenience store for all your needs. The front of the house offers ample parking. Bring your boat down or rent one here - but please let us know your plans so that we can make necessary accommodations.
