Summary: The house was very interesting, and we had a great time. Our host, Carly, was very responsive via text. I believe the house was renovated in 2015 and it is time for a bit of love and attention: the front porch was lovely and the weather was great but there was no furniture on the front porch. The front and back yard could use some work: clean up kudzu and remove old outdoor chairs and wood table. I thought there was going to be a hot tub, but it appears to have been removed. Floor or table lamps in the Living Room and the Primary Bedroom would be nice for reading and relaxing. There were 6 dining chairs for the kitchen and dining room to share, so more dining chairs would be appreciated. Time for new or sharpened kitchen knives. The primary bath is quite gracious but could use a deep clean and polish at the shower. The beds and bed linens were super comfy and we enjoyed the bathrobes. The location is perfect: close enough to walk to downtown Asheville or stroll historic Montford. Also close to several good restaurants.
