This spacious island escape includes private boat docking (up to 28 ft boat) and is located just minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. This two-story home includes a large backyard as well as multiple screen enclosed porches for enjoying the tropical breezes. Wifi, outdoor, and private pool included. Please note this bridgeless island is only accessible by ferry or private boat.
There is one restaurant/bar on the island, as well as a place to get ice cream. There is a very small store attached to the restaurant which has a small selection of essentials. Palm Island is for those looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of the mainland and everyday life.
The ferry to get onto the island is called Palm Island Transit. Most people choose to drive their car onto the ferry, which is $55 per car per round trip. You would then drive on the island to the house and park in the driveway.

Summary: The house, pool and dock were perfect for us. My husband and I took our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter (2 1/2) and our son and his girlfriend. There was plenty of room for everyone. The dock was perfect for our boat and the pool was great!
