Summary: Room looked like it needed major renovations. One of the chairs to sit in was part of an old restaurant booth. That chair was on the verge of falling apart and not sturdy. Wifi service was atrocious. Stayed 2 nights during Daytona 500 weekend. Wifi disconnected constantly throughout the duration of my stay. TV was a decoration only. No cable service whatsover, no streaming services whatsover. Front door was constantly stuck. Every time I opened that front door to enter the room, the door would stick. Sleeping at this property is impossible due to the motel being on top of both the 95 freeway and International Speedway. Experienced constant auto traffic noise and planes landing at Daytona International Airports. Lots of guests staying at this property were talking loudly outside of their rooms throughout both nights of my stay. Hotel staff did not approach these guests to tone down their noise volume. Vending machine non-functional. I tried to purchase a soda and "tap" for payment, no success whatsover in terms of paying for my beverage and receiving it. Had to drive to McDonalds to grab a beverage. For any guests staying in Daytona anytime of the year, I would recommend the following: 1) Find another motel/hotel to stay in and avoid this motel, 2) Only stay at this property if and only if all other motel/hotel properties are completely booked and you just need a bed for the night. But that is contradictory, because you won't sleep at this property.
