Summary: Upon arriving we found the grass wasn't cut and up to just under our knees. We got in the house okay, but could not figure out the wifi password as what is listed in the house and what is on the house manual are different. Also, the thermostat was in a lock box so we were unable to change it the entire visit so it stayed on 72. Although the house manual stated we could change it, just not below 68-which is reasonable. I messaged the owner and he said someone would be out the next day to cut the grass(they never came to cut) and he asked me to send him a picture of the lock on the thermostat and if someone could come out when we werent there to check it. I told him no, it would be okay. The temperature did start to feel better, but again, it stayed on 72. Also, we found broken glass in the backyard near the trampoline so I could not let me daughter enjoy playing in the yard due to that as well as the grass being high. There were also multiple bugs/roaches in the house as well as the back porch. It was not very tidy at all. There was also a leak in the ceiling where we had to leave a pot to catch the water that was constantly dripping. Overall, very disappointed in this property. I let the owner know of all the issues and they just said they would make sure to address everything and thanked me for my detailed feedback. No "sorry" or anything. I have used VRBO for many years for vacations and this is the first time I've ever had any issues with the property I've stayed in.
