The Cherokee named this river "Chestatee", meaning "Place of Light". This owner designed this cottage to provide its guests with views the reflecting light from every room in the house.

WRAP AROUND PORCH :) Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the Chestatee River, while you sip on your morning coffee on the wrap around porch. It literally sounds like a bird sanctuary in the mornings and if you're lucky you'll spot our local Bald Eagle flying down the river. The master bedroom has its own direct access to a screened in porch overlooking the river, complete with outdoor sofa.
