Positive: Located in building F of The Village of South Walton Beach condo, it is the side of condo closest to where the farmers market is located (the room is located on the 3rd floor) so the location is very convenient. Easy parking at the back of the building. One of the pools was heated, and there was a (shared) hot tub and grill. Layout of the room is very functional, and the room is equipped with kitchenware for any kind of cooking you can imagine (pots, pans, utensils, cutleries, coffee maker, can/wine opener, toaster, etc.). Some beach chairs and umbrellas were in the spare bedroom closet which was very useful (one of the beach chairs seems broken). The building has elevator. Plenty of towels were provided and were very clean. The bedsheets were clean and plenty of pillows. Plenty of dishwasher and laundry pods provided to be used with dishwasher and washing machines. Central heating and AC worked well. The balcony faces 30A highway but the noise level within the unit was not loud. A table and chairs on the balcony were nice to have.
Negative: The floor of the unit could be cleaner, if you walk barefoot your feet sole will turn black. The rugs in the unit could be replaced with cleaner ones. There was some sand as well on the floor of the unit right when we arrived. The screen door leading to the balcony could be replaced as the handle was coming loose, so as the doorknob of the main entrance to the unit. We ran the dishwasher the first time and the dishes were not cleaned, so we figured out that the water valve to the dishwasher under the kitchen sink was turned off.
Summary: Great location, nice facilities and amenities, great room layout, the floor and rugs could be cleaner
