Summary: We chose this property given the proximity to Central Park for a concert. It was listed as “sleeps 7”, it barely slept the 3 of us after we had to remove 3 others from the trip at the last minute (Friday night of a Friday-Monday stay) because there’s no way this place could accommodate 7 people. For starters, the condo is fairly new however it’s in a fishbowl area. You can see and hear everything- no window coverings, including in the bathrooms which face the parking lot and other units. We could hear when the garage next door opened/closed. The windows throughout the house nor the patio door locked. While there’s a gate, that’s extremely unsafe. The bed in the master was broken upon arrival. The furniture is cheap, IKEA-like furniture. The patios were filthy and had food crumbs everywhere. The trash can was broken. For this to be such a newer condo, the upkeep isn’t there. And let’s not discuss the stairs. It’s 3 flights and A LOT of stairs. Also, no TVs anywhere except 1 in the living room. The couch is tight, old and uncomfortable. The property owner/manager was made aware of these issues and offered to send a housekeeper. Can the housekeeper fix the bed or lock the windows? No. Overall it did the job but never again. Too much money for the inconvenience
