Summary: The layout of apartment was great. Communication with host was great. Location was next to a very active fire station and a popular bar. Parking gate was broken so anyone could get into the building. The doors are deadbolted but aren’t completely closed/secure. Had to move furniture in front of doors every night. The apartment wasn’t very clean upon move-in. The couch hasn’t been cleaned or vacuumed in many months. The front door to the street looks like the place is abandoned! Thick dust & cobwebs. Floor was sticky. Kitchen had almost no supplies to cook. Pots have seen better days, very few utensils. Toilet needs some maintenance- complicated to flush. And beware of the laundry machines - they destroyed several pieces of washable clothing. The place would be fine for a man staying downtown but for young women, I wouldn’t recommend due to safety.
