Thank you for choosing to spend your vacation in our home. Here are a few reminders about your departure and the house rules. Please take a moment and have all the guests read them.
• Cameras are located on the exterior front and rear sides of the home as a safety measure during your stay and when empty.
• The door will auto lock after 60 seconds. Check in is at 4:00 pm. Please do not try to check in early unless prior approval has been granted by the property manager and an additional fee has been paid. Your code will not work until 10 minutes before check in. It is our desire to provide the best experience by preparing and restocking the home prior to your arrival.
• To watch TV, a Roku remote is provided (for each TV), that will power on the TV, make selections, and control sound.
• Supplies provided for your stay are a few trash bags, rolls of toilet paper, and paper towels. Sponge, dish detergent, and dishwasher pods are located on the counter beside the kitchen sink for cleaning dishes and/or using the dishwasher.
• Checkout is 10:00am sharp.
****NOTE: Cleaning & linen services are on a strict schedule. If they have to reschedule, your deposit will be forfeited, or an additional fee will be charged.
• Towels – Please place all used towels & wash cloths in bathtubs.
• Take out all trash from the bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and patio to the outside large trash cans. Take all food items with you or throw them away.
• Wednesday guests either checking in or checking out, please place trash & recycling cans at curbside for very early Thursday AM pickup. If cans are not moved to curbside, a fine of $250 will be incurred.
• Turn all air conditioning thermostats to 78 degrees in warmer months and 65 degrees in cold or cooler months at checkout.
• Lock all doors and windows.
• Report damages upon checking in and checking out. Accidents happen.
• Absolutely NO SMOKING in or on the property including electronic cigarettes. If neighbors or property manager report any SMOKING on or in the property, the reservation/contract will be terminated immediately and/or your deposit will be forfeited.

Summary: Overall, we loved the layout of the house. It had three bedrooms, which gave us our own individual space as well as plenty of seating in the living room and at the kitchen table. We loved the faith decorations as we too, are Christians and were encouraged by them. The backyard is nice and big however, more comfortable seating would be preferred. Especially for elderly people who are not able to get up and down from the adirondak chairs. It would also be preferable to have a TV in each of the guest rooms as there is only one in the master bedroom and in the living room. On the downside, the house was less than clean. Within the first 15 minutes of arriving, my aunt‘s dog found a shrimp tail and tried eating it. The dog has severe food allergies so this was very dangerous for her. Because of this, we ended up re-sweeping the living room and dining area, and there were lots of dust bunnies, dog hair (not ours as the dog hair seemed to be from a golden retriever and we have a Yorkie), old dog food and other dirt on the floor. I let the property manager know, and she said that she would address it with her cleaning crew. We enjoyed having Walmart and Publix, right around the corner and enjoyed eating at Jalapeños, which was also right around the corner. It’s a short 15 to 20 minute drive to the heart of Savannah and we loved walking around the Christmas market and River Street. We had a great time but because of the cleaning issues, we probably would not stay here again.
