Please note, a train runs behind the apartment complex and you may hear it during your stay. It’s a short freight train that goes from Memphis to Nashville, but it operates irregularly. Sometimes it doesn’t run at all, and other times it runs a few times a day. The train doesn’t blow its horn near our building, so it’s just background noise as it passes by. The train is not visible due to the vegetation between the tracks and the building. Sound and light-reducing curtains as well as a sound machine are provided to minimize any disturbance.

Summary: I stayed at On the Rocks while visiting my daughter who lives just a few streets away. The place was just as described and very comfortable. I also enjoyed sitting outside in the common area to enjoy some sunshine. The neighborhood is nice to walk or the Greenway, a paved walking path, is just up the street making a daily walk super easy. Bridgette was great to communicate with. I have stayed at another property managed by her and it has always been a wonderful stay. Coffee and filters were much appreciated!!
