Enjoy major privacy: fishing, lounging, watching the sailboats, wildlife, water fun… Bring a boat too if you’d like. There is a boat launch area close by in South River with easy access to the intracoastal waterway at Adams Creek down to Morehead City or out to the Pamlico Sound. This amazing, remote, 3 acre property, home away from home, features 2 master bedrooms both with king beds, one master includes a full bed in a separate area and the other has a child’s sleeping area; there is a third small room with a full bed. Washer and dryer; AC, and heating; guests will have everything they need. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with large showers for convenience. Home offers a convection oven, room darkening shades. Enjoy a 20 minute drive to Historic Beaufort, NC; thirty minutes to Morehead City, "a Fisherman's Paradise": hour drive to Historic New Bern, NC, and forty mintues over to Harkers Island where you can catch a ferry over to Shackleford Banks and Cape Lookout Lighthouse.

Summary: Peaceful retreat spot to get back to nature and spend quality time with loved ones. Interior of home is modern and well-appointed. We sat for hours on the porch watching egrets, sea otters, herons and even a bald eagle! There is excellent fishing right from the bank. We enjoyed the fire pit and clear view of stars at night. Bring everything you need because it's a 30-min drive to town!
