The Bandera Stronghold is located 5 miles from downtown Bandera on spring fed Mason Creek. Wildlife abounds on this heavily wooded 8.5 acres. The Crazy Horse cabin is adjacent to the host’s home, though very secluded. It features a full kitchen for "cooking/dining in" and is stocked w/ most needed utensils, condiments & coffee (since hosts are on site, they're happy to share anything you might need or have forgotten). The private back deck holds the hot tub and overlooks the beautiful creek. Crazy Horse cabin offers a queen bed, cozy dining for two in the kitchen, full bath with tub and shower combo, TV monitor with DVD player, central air and heat, charcoal grill, outdoor dining table & chairs. Your well behaved dog is welcome for an additional fee. All bed and bath linens are supplied. A roll away bed is available for a 3rd guest for an additional fee. Enjoy a day of catch and release fishing, bird and deer watching and a dip in the creek followed by an evening of stargazing as you soak in the hot tub.
