About The Shell Seekers Retreat: The primary bedroom has a queen sized bed, a spacious closet, large dresser and TV with cable/roku/netflix access. There is also direct access to the bathroom. With a microwave, countertop oven, coffee maker, pots, pans and dishes - the kitchen has everything that you need to enjoy a meal at home. Laundry is available on the main level. About the location: Forest Ridge Village is a very peaceful neighborhood with a pool, tennis courts and a lot of green space. It's also just a short walk to 13 miles of white sandy beach. Amelia Island offers plenty of opportunities for bicycling, birdwatching, golf and fishing. The Egan's Creek Waterway is also a great place for a walk, where you will often see turtles, herons and alligators. At Fort Clinch State Park, you can step back into 1864 as soldiers reenact life during the Civil War. Fort Clinch also offers a six-mile multi-use trail, and 3 miles of shoreline - great for shelling and shark tooth hunting! Historic downtown Fernandina has Victorian-era architecture, a multitude of shops and every kind of restaurant that you can imagine.
