Summary: The staff was wonderful. The bed was comfortable. The drapes didn't close all the way and the light bulb in a lamp wasn't seated properly, so it kept flickering. We reset it and it was fine. The hotel room was... serviceable. Not the nicest Candlewood I've seen (it has some signs of age in the bathroom and the backsplash in the kitchen was cracked). Biggest letdown was that the description indicates hotel guests can partake in the complimentary breakfast across the street at the Holiday Inn Express, but that is no longer true. We didn't bring the lights or the drapes to anyone's attention — but honestly, someone needs to check this stuff when you turn the room.
