It's the best of both worlds... 1bd/1ba cottage ON the Intercoastal and across the street from the beach! Large backyard, dock, and directly across from beach access. This little old beach cottage definitely feels cozy as it is around 500 sq.ft. It is perfect for those wanting to get away and relax! Couples or the solo traveler will love it. Restaurants, bars and stores are all nearby. Guests love to relax in this beautiful, peaceful setting! We are pet friendly ($150 flat pet fee). *See note below regarding pets.
Newly tiled 1 bedroom with a full size bed. Separate bathroom with tub/shower. This cottage is just right for a couple. I recommend that no more than 2 people stay, but should you have a small child with you or if a visitor should want to stay the night, a full sized sofa sleeper allows for 1 more person to stay. The living area has a 3 cushion sofa and a coffee table. It has tiled floors and a kitchenette area with a glass-top stove, microwave, toaster oven and full size refrigerator. Please note, there is no oven, but I do provide a large toaster oven/air fryer. There is a bar top counter with 2 stools for extra seating or to dine. The bathroom has a large vanity and mirror with a closet beside it. A door separates the adjacent shower/tub and toilet area. There is a flat screen TV in the living room equipped with Roku. Cable and streaming services are available on the Roku device through YouTubeTV. The Cottage is also equipped with strong 5G WIFI making working remote or streaming live TV a breeze!
Just across the intercoastal is Conch Key which is a Natural Reserve so there is nothing to disturb the peaceful view. There is no more perfect word to describe the look of the back yard besides "lush" which just adds to the peaceful setting. Enjoy sitting on the dock or lounging in the hammock as the various birds, otters, manatee and dolphin play in the water in right before your eyes.
Relax in the yard while grilling on the gas grill or sitting at the picnic table. Wake up and have your morning coffee at the table and chairs on the dock or on the deck facing the water.
There is a washer and dryer in the garage to make your stay even more convenient.
The cottage is pet friendly. Please note, you must notify me if you plan to bring a pet. Please also be sure to check off the box in the reservation indicating that a pet will accompany you on the reservation. The house rules for pets are noted in the listing, please be sure to review and accept. If you are unable to locate the pet rules, please contact me and I will send them to you in the message thread.
The cottage is also boat accessible. So please advise me if you plan on bringing or renting a boat in your inquiry as there is a nominal fee for docking a boat.
