Welcome to Bienvenue (a nod to our NOLA roots)! Darling, pet friendly, historic cottage within walking distance to shops & restaurants to include Southern Soul BBQ and the shops of Redfern Village. Beautiful, original wood floors add to the charm of this well appointed home along with two large bedrooms and bathrooms, upscale kitchen appliances boasting a gas range, and on-demand water heater. The extra large L-shaped leather couch allows for extra comfort along with ceiling fans through out.

This cottage was designed for maximum indoor-outdoor enjoyment. Enjoy the stainless gas grill, a charcoal grill, big smoker that can roast oysters or smoke your favorites cuts of meat, and a two burner gas cooker for those low-country boils. Dog door opens onto a 500 sf screened porch in the back complete with large television, comfy sofa and chairs and a separate dining area, all over-looking a new pool (completed October 2021) with beautiful silver travertine decking.

Oh, and don’t forget Spot. Bienvenue loves house trained, well mannered K9s. Your fur baby will enjoy the doggie door and the safety of the fully fenced rear yard, but sorry, no felines allowed as the owner is highly allergic to them.

A short walk to East Beach, but only a block from Southern Soul BBQ and the many restaurants and shops of Redfern Village. This cottage is actually our retirement home and therefore feels like home, versus a simple vacation rental. You will not be disappointed. We look forward to hearing from you.

Summary: The home was spotless, well-maintained & with lovely décor. The kitchen was very well stocked. The furniture was very comfortable. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. The neighborhood was great for taking walks. We loved the front porch & back screened in porch. The yard was sweet. You can tell this home is loved. There is a lot to do in the area & restaurants are great. Management was extremely responsive & helpful. We hope to stay at this gem again.
