A beautiful, warm and nicely-appointed genuine DownEast ocenfront cottage, in the family for years and well-kept with modern updated systems. The shorefront is classic Maine--rocky and tidal, with a nice concrete perch right at the water level, great for casual contemplation of the spectacular location. This cottage is larger than it looks, with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, full kitchen, dining area and pleasant living rooms with lots of water-view windows on both levels. Main level has a wood-burning stoves for your use. A washer/dryer provide convenience during your visit, and satellite TV and DVD help on those rainy days.

Ad you can easily drive anywhere on the island, including the small, waterfront villages and, of course, Acadia National Park--in fact, you are only a couple minutes from the Bass Harbor Lighthouse.
