Tucked away in a meadow of tall shaded oaks & lawns, we are Hidden Away in the Heart of Lynchburg just 10 minutes to Downtown, Liberty University, Lynchburg University, and Historic Virginian Culture. This "Gnomish" retreat is updated with Flat Screen TVs, AC & Heat, Ceiling Fans, & Wifi. Host a Campfire at night, catch fireflies to your kid's delight or just stargaze by the soothing Coy Pond & trickling waterfalls. 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom Cottage with a Queen in the Master Bedroom, a Full in the front guest room, and a full and single in the loft tree fort bed (bring a sleeping bag and pillow) for kids ages 3-12, in a second guest room. Everything you could possibly need along with a large selection of restaurants and activities is within 10 minutes from this location, yet you will often see deer and other wildlife wandering through on misty mornings grazing on fresh grass in the nearby woods. Lynchburg is located in the Central Virginia Region at the Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and close to the Sparkling Waters of the Historic James River and Smith Mountain Lake. Blue-hued morning mist hugs the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains, the Appalachian Trail, and heritage sights for Patriarchs of Old. Civil War Living Museums, Scenic Wineries, Microbrewery Row, Spectacular Hiking, & cultural events abound in this area.
PET FRIENDLY: (SEE RESTRICTED BREEDS BELOW) Flea Treatment is Required, Not on Furniture and the cost is $60 per pet under 21 days. Please consider crating them if you leave them alone on the property. And if you need dog sitting while you are here, let me know as I have several wonderful homes in the area that have been doing it for years… runs about $35/day. We do have some Prohibited Breeds due to Insurance Limitations (Akita, Alaskan Malamutes, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherds, Mastiffs, Pit & Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Sharpei, Wolf Hybrid, Mixed Breeds of any of these and any dog with a history of aggression)
