It's rare to find a place that's both historic and one-of-a-kind place; however, The Spartan Trailers meet both of those descriptors. The Spartan Trailers are a spinoff of the famed American Spartan Aircraft Company that produced executive aircraft for prominent owners such as Howard Hughes. However, due to increased competition in the aircraft industry following World War II, the owner redirected the production to focus on the demand for housing and leisure. This is one of four available.
The space
This vintage trailer coach is located in a private fenced area in the town of Tellico Plains. It is one of four available units all covered with their own private sitting areas. There is a covered common area with a grill, and picnic area as well as a fire pit. All units are well appointed in different themes with everything you could ask for to accommodate a short or long-term stay. Each unit has a living room, dinning area, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. This trailer coach is set off away from the others in its own corner and the theme is a romantic get-away decorated in blue. When you walk in you are greeted by a beautiful electric fireplace, open floor plan with a vintage kitchen table, and comfortable couch with lounger. The bedroom provides a very comfortable full size bed with plenty of storage to store your belongings.
