Being 10 minutes away from the Homosassa river, your not far from scallop season from July1-September 24, or swimming with the manatees during the winter days. There are tons of restaurants on the river along with a wildlife park for the family to enjoy! Enjoy a Drunkin pirate tour, ghost tour, or history tour with one of our local historians in old Homosassa, book online! Great local food and karaoke right down the road at Kilos bar! Summary: What a great location and property. The host charmaine was a pleasure to deal with and made sure all of our needs were met and more. This was our first trip together and other than the weather canceling our boat ride we had a wonderful time. The house we stayed was brand new and had absolutely everything we could of needed. The neighborhood was quiet and located less than 10 minutes from everything. I highly recommend this property and definitely will go back again. If quiet old school Florida is what you are looking for than look no further. 5 stars!!!!!
